    SA sturmfahne never had black fringe. From the pictures, it appears to be a period piece but I would not make a decision just from the pictures.

    I will try to post pics in the future as we all know how links can disappear !! I am familiar with the construction of SA/SS flags, but I was curious if this possibly started out as something else...
