    William: Do you know the size? I see the maker mark is GPH. I am far from being an expert but I don't like it. The front looks really weak. Hopefully you hear from JR on this one.

    Hello again,

    Here's what Jr. had to say about it:

    " It is a period 24" example of a GPH eagle. The studs have been cut down obviously and the chain added to facilitate the hanging of this eagle. Certainly the chain looks old and perhaps was done during the period. "
