    Default Reichskriegsflag: well eaten

This flag has seen better days, and has been enjoyed more by moths than anyone else since it has been brought back. I still like the flag and its character. I plan on folding this one up and just displaying the swaz or iron cross from behind glass.

    Thanks,

    Alec

Nice flag! Moths are the reason I don't display my US Navy uniforms.

    Thanks guys,

glass will keep it safe from now on, moths will have to look elsewhere for dinner.

You know Alec as old as some of these items are, I am surprised that many more or almost all of them have survived! I mean its been what 70+ years for some items? And many items were not stored by the Vets properly, and such either.

I know what you mean Teutonic, I have another German flag that has only a few small moth bites out of it, and I also have some WWII posters made of paper that have survived in very good condition. When I first started collecting I was surprised that so much has been able to make it through all this time.

Alec, that is a great flag, it does not have that many moth holes as you say.
That amount is actually quite normal, for a flag so old.
My NSDAP banner is 5x worse than your flag.
    Cheers.

IMO the little tears add much character.. Congratulations! If you're looking to sell it in the future keep me in mind :P
