Small DDAC Pennant

Hello,
Recently I found this small DDAC pennant, it is in relatively good condition, I noticed the stripes are different from most other DDAC pennants that I have seen in that this has 3 bold even stripes vs the typical thick red center stripe with thinner white and black stripes on the outside. I was just wondering if this is an earlier/rarer version of it.

Typically the other DDAC Pennants I have seen look like this, anyone have any ideas about mine?

Hi Darius, these pennants are not something I really have any experience with. All I can say is that yours appears to be an honest example with, what looks like to me, period legitimate age.

No, it does not glow under a blacklight.

it looks like a variation probably just the way this maker made them the ddac was not rzm controlled. ive also seen these with a red tongue out of eagles mouth. looks like a period spring loaded clip, id say a good piece probably a rarer variation ..

I would guess that yours may be an earlier example or perhaps military vs non military ........?

Notice too, that the eagles head faces opposite to the 'standard' pennant,
The tallons (claws) are also of a different design and positioned lower !
