    I'm sure there are some members who can tell you right away if it is good or bad, but in the meantime, try smelling the material. 65+ year old flags/cloth items have a very distinct smell.

    I wonder when fakes from the 1970's ( and there were a LOT of them ) will become collectable in their own right?
    Seriously - after all, they are 40 years old now!! ( I particularly like the fantasy 'Stalingrad Shield' and wish I still had the one I bought in the 80's thinking it was TR era )

    SS command and car flags are hand made and not printed. One for Himmler would certainly be of the highest quality. The eagles were hand embroidered. Here is an example.Click image for larger version.
