1970s fake i am sorry to say
No problem, thats why I was asking !!!
Thank you so much... I will post other pennants in a minute, hopefully some are the real thing...
It seems this entire collection you are posting is fake?
Well after posting a few items, I am about 50/50 fake versus real...
Some are the real thing, some are partially and some a totally fake..
We will see as time goes by...
Made by Delta International, there was a series of these produced in the early 1970's. I always wonder when another one will show up on the forum. We usually get an example every 3-4 months. Not only are these not genuine, they are total fantasy design that never existed in the period.
LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
Just in case you needed to be certain
A page from the Delta brochure
When you're wounded and left of Afghanistan's plains,
An' the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle an' blow out your brains,
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier." - Rudyard Kipling
These weren't very cheap for the early 70'. Back then $12 could buy a nice EKII or a good common belt buckle, a nice SA dagger was $50. They were making a great profit at $12.

Saw one a guy was trying to sell for $1500 USD at a show recently. Tried to say something about it not being genuine and that didnt go well. He firmly believes it is a very rare item. O well I tried .
