In days of old, these signed flags were not popular as they were considered damaged goods. Now that 71 years have passed since Germany surrendered, these signed flags are historically important. Years ago, they helped track down vets who had written their home addresses on the flags. Today, those addresses would be a dead end.

To me, the price seems very high. I do not think the signatures add $300+ to the value.

Agree with Bob. I bought one (albeit smaller) in 2013/14 (?) for $100.

I have some of these,....and a particularly nice 37 signature podium banner signed after the Rhine crossing. If the signatures are authentic and period (hard to tell from the posted Pic), it most certainly adds value, no matter what others have already posted. Especially, if the unit, location, and time frame can be deciphered and authenticated.

FYI - Many of these were signed at reunions and those are much more common than field captured and signed pieces. It can be tough to distinguish between the two, but it is possible.
