Thought on this NSDAP Flag?

Hi, all. I saw this flag at an auction and it was going cheap. I don't know if it's authentic, though and it was mixed in with a lot of other stuff...some good and some bad. What do you all think?

Hi Adam, it might be OK, but personally I would pass on it.

More of a wall hanger or drape than a true flag due to the odd dimentions.

Oh, and the flag measures 11 inches x 14" with 3 small holes present. Maybe the kind of flag that hung from a house or was attached to a vehicle?

Yes , a wall hanger, but would make a nice display behind some tunics on some mannequins.

That's small, i did not realize it was that small, then that would possibly make it a small pennant...

Thanks, Ade. Yes, it seemed rather thin and cheaply made as though it's a draper/wall hanger as you say. It's a silent auction and the high bid was only $25 though so maybe I'll just pick it up.

It might have been a podium hanger, when ever someone from the party spoke at an event, that might have hung from the speakers podium, or it could have hung from the front of a desk in a party members office.
