    the pole top for sure look genuine, i got the other Veterans Associations pole topper here, this one. i wonder if anyone knows the differcence between the two designs, different time period maybe?

    The first pole top reflects the "Kyffhauserbund" emblem a former soldiers organization and the second is the NS-RKB (Reichskreigerbund) this NSDAP organization absorbed most of the veterans organizations .

    Horst, from what i understand both the Kyffhauserbund and the NS-RKB absorbed into the NSKOV? or was that two separate veterans organisations?

    Tobias-

    No the NSKOV(NS Kriegsopferversorgung) had nothing to do with the Vet organizations like Kyffhauser etc as is reflected in the NSDAP Organization book , the NSKOV was strictly for wounded soldiers, widows etc sort of a Social Security system. Hope this clarifies some.
