What kind of flag is this?

I am not 100% sure what this is, so I thought I'd ask. It is approx. 3 1/2' x 4' I would like your opinion as to whether it is rare & valuable, or common. It is not mine, but I am working on it. I guess it has a little fading, although it doesn't show up in the foto.

Hi Bob, I cannot say I have seen one exactly like this before. But it is DAF & Railway related to the town of Furth. I have no idea of a possible value, sorry.

The flag is for the political office of the DAF and not for a factory unit.

The patch states that it's from the DAF Train Section, office for Train maintenance in Fürth.
