Both have mistakes but Angolia covers a lot more Officers, EM, brocades. Nash is all EM. The French book Gott MIt Uns seem to be a very good book. I would like to see Bender or Shiffer put out an English version.

The best books about belt buckles are IMO "Gott mit uns" (Francis Catella) and of course "Deutsche Koppelschlösser 1800-1945" (Jürgen Bandau)
But they are not written in english!

Angolia's 2nd edition and as Max stated-Catella and then Bandau if they are available. A rranslated English printing of both thses books would be nice but even in Frech and German they supply great info. Also Tom Reid's book is excellent but drawings only but also some very good information. Nash's book is Ok but many fakes and his prices he lists for each buckle have come out of left field. I have all of these plus others and I find myself checking the first three and then Reid and last Nash.
