I thought I would give these a spin, sadly 4 de-nazified, the 5th a bit shiny for my liking but you never know.

Cheep and chearful at €25 the lot!

Hello Jock

I can only comment on the 2 HJ's and what a pity that the Overhoff "Kriegsmetall" example has had the swastika erased. The good news however is the other HJ and which still has the swastika intact. Is it made from steel and is it marked M4/30 (for Berg und Nolte AG., Lüdenscheid) ? Well worth a Euros 25 punt !

Hey Jock,
as I sayed before in an other threat, one doesn't find militaria that easely here, not even Belgian militaria.
And if it has got a swastika on it ,they think it is gold.
I was at a sales room yesterday and they had among theyre objects a rather large swastika surounded with oak leafs mounted on a marble foot as a desk display.
Not shure of what it was , I was willing to spend +/- 150 euro on it, well it went 500€.
I recently bought some furniture in Germany, one of them is an old 18th century oak trunk with iron forged ornaments at 50 €....??!!
Now that is what I call a bargain.

Thats the one (intact) that appears chromed or very shiny in between the rust. I allways veiwed anything really shiny with suspision?

Perhaps my photography is not up to the mark?

I will try for a better picture to clear it up.
