Gwar is correct; it's for the Feuerwehr of Sachsen (Saxony).

Gwar is absolutely correct. This buckle is for the Prussian province of Saxony - not to be confused with the Free State (Freistaat) of Saxony, the successor of the kingdom of the same name. This province was created in 1815 and unified isolated historic Prussian possessions with territory ceded to Prussia by the then-kingdom of Saxony as a result of the Congress of Vienna. The arms of the Prussian province are surmounted by the Prussian eagle, whereas the Saxon (Free State) arms have the diamond/rhombic shield only.

    Kind regards
    Kurt
