First Buckle (KM) !!!

Im new to Buckles so comments are appreciated and I would like to know how to find out the mfg if possible. I got this for myself for my birthday today with my first helmet!!! and I think its a KM enlisted buckle. It appears to have a tarnished spot... almost looks like someone tried to weld it?

I'm sorry to hear that your birthday hasn't turned out the way you had hoped. Oh, the perils of collecting Third Reich artifacts!

Ben, that dealer sells quite a bit of fakes. I don't think he realizes it though. You should be able to easily get a refund.

My advice would be to go get that SA dagger he has instead.
