Hey gang! I recently moved and was lucky to have these 'drawers' put into the cabinets on both sides of the fireplace. These are PERFECT for my buckles.
Before, they were kept in display cases. Now - they are all here except perhaps a dozen used in displays with hewers or daggers....for example: none of my HJ buckles are here as they are in a case with an early Bell manufactured HJ knife. Same goes with some SA, SS and RAD buckles that are in display cases with the matching daggers....

Anyways....thought I would take some pics and show you how I display my buckles now. This is most of them.

I try to collect one of each...but I also go for variants in construction and material used in the making of the buckle....that allows me to add many many more buckles to the mix....

I've just noticed you've got a Berlin Polizei buckle there, what era are they from? i'm interested because i've got one.

The Berlin Police is from the 60's I believe...i collect all types of German buckles...though i do prefer TR examples, so you will notice 50mm pre-1900 buckles all the way to present day issued types.
Ben...the Turnerbund is Overhoff with the early O&C markings...i can start a seperate thread for it.
