Default German WW2 Belt Markings-Help Needed!

    Hi all,
I have recently bought a German WW2 belt & buckle. This is my first purchase and just wanted to check whether anyone could tell me about the markings on the belt.

I have been trying to do my own research, but it's a massive minefield.
The buckle has no markings-which I have read isn't rare.

The belt has the markings: "43 BN 0556/015

    Any information would be great!

Sounds like the belt is dated for 1943 followed by an RBN number

In the future, post good pics of the buckles front and back. That's important when to decide if it's original or not
