for that price - it is a great buy and it looks right to me.
Looking for following WWII German items:
- anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
- entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
- forestry and hunting items,

From the hook it looks like a Weimar period belt, whatever it is at $24 its a deal
I thought the same. I was sure I would be out bid. Just interested now to hear what people have to say.

I would wait until you get it, rub a little talc in the lettering and and see exactly what you have, (might not need it in the end) again mate at $24 a steal
Ben is right, this belt is 100% from the Reichswehr...
Belts from the Weimar era are rare now...even more uncommon than WWI belts...
