    Gentlemen,

I posted the request to identify this buckle on another page as I believed it to be Russian, A kind member suggested in may in fact be "Trench Art" and German in origin. It was found close to one of the Forts here in Przemysl, and would date it to WW1. Is the rear of the buckle standard German patten?

If anybody can give me any clues to it's origin I would be very grateful,

    Many thanks in advance

    Martin

Sorry Martin never seen one, looks like an early "cottage industry" made buckle
