koppelschloss strafbataillon / punishment battalion

Hi, I have been searching the threads for a punishment battalion belt buckle, but I can't find any.
Maybe because of all the different ways to spell batallion, bataillion, battalion, bataljon.
I would like it to compare to this one;




I know, the front picture is a bit blurry, but I can't get any better at this moment.
It's supposed to be unissued, I wonder where something like that would turn up.
Are there copies/fakes of this one anyway, because they are not really expensive buckles.
And are there many around? A worn one is always nicer than an unused one of course.
I would like your opinion on originality on this one.

I think all of these buckles are marked B&N 43 and the would make them a period items. I had a well worn example but most of these are on mint condition.

Thanks, I had an explaining PM from Markus saying it was a converted Rohling post war, stamped liked you said with B&N 43 to make it look like a period item. Certainly no punishment battalion buckle. Thanks again Markus

Does anyone have a picture how a good example of a strafbataillon looks like? I'm very curious now.
In stead of buying the buckle I will join the club now, preventing me from buying a copy!
