Is it NSDAP ? 5 x 3,9 cm DRGM
I'd say this is a fantasy item.

Looking for militaria from HKB 31./977, HKB 32./977, HKB 38./977 or militaria related to Norway
Perhaps a sympathizer buckle - or just a good luck symbol on a belt buckle. It looks quite old. Not sure if it's related to the NSDAP but it does look period. DRGM is something like "patent pending" and you do find it on many period pieces. It's the first time I see such a buckle - but it does give me that vibe that it's old and authentic - only, not necessarily belonging to the NSDAP.
Thanks for sharing! Any markings on the belt?
Cheers!
Rob
Hello I agree with Rob, I like the buckle. A have a bunch of these small swastika buckles.
I do like this Gürtelschließe, however and as others have quite rightly suggested - German by origin, although there is no strong correlation with the NSDAP.
The "hakenkreuz" good luck symbol and throughout the early twentieth century within the USA and Western Europe, being recognised and adopted as a pleasant and non political emblem.
Later of course being cruelly seized by and forced upon us as the sign of the NSDAP.
Regards,
David
