Are these Totenkopf buckles pure fantasy?

Article about: Do these have any basis in reality? From what I 've learned over time, I think the answer is no, but a definitive answer from the experts can make this thread useful for people seeing these

    There's a similar post on here with these terrible fantasy buckles. These never even existed.

    I actually bought one of these to my dad when he wanted one without a swastika. Then I did not know that there is denazified ones out there.
    The sad part is that I gave a lot of money for it, for that price I could have a good,denazified one.
    Back then I thought that it was very difficult to get a good buckle.

    I did know that it was a repro. I will buy him a denazified one soon. And then a good one. He might get caught by the buckle disease and start collecting!

    You might want to buy him a DJ buckle or a Stahlhelm buckle. Why waste money on a denazified buckle.
