Thoughts on this buckle !!

This one has had a part on an Estonian 3 Lions national shield attached to it , but is the Heer buckle itself original or fake ?

Hello Paul,
I don't believe it is, the eagle seems to have a pretty scrawny neck.
The tabs look good but overall I don't like it. I believe it shows some kind of maker's mark but hard to read. Is the buckle in your possession to take better photos?

eagles head will suggest us a H.Aurich buckle but all other features are make me uncertain.

I have a bad feeling about .......

Looks like an Aurich eagle but the ears on the buckle don't look right!..

Guys the maker mark on the buckle is Schmole & Comp, Menden dated 1940 !!

Yup after looking at a Schmole heer the ears and eagle seem to match, the prongs look like they might have been replaced though!...
