    Default Unidentified "Upright Swastika" Buckle

I wonder if anyone has any ideas about this buckle?

The buckle is definitely period and definitely not a post 1945 fantasy item, however having said that, who could have worn it ?

The buckle appears in at least one period catalogue without any description or designation and furthermore, the buckle appears in at least one buckle reference book with a "youth" association.

As always, any comments would be welcome.

    Regards,

    David

Interesting for sure....I wonder if it could be put under the NSDAP sympathizer category? A first for me too!

Thankyou for the comments. For the moment at least, "unidentified". I must admit though, more inclined to lean toward "sympathiser" rather than "youth".

David, many national / "völkische" groups used the swastika in the weimar area. I guess, this buckle was made for people, belonging to such groups, but not to one specific organisation, but that is just my opinion. Would be nice, to find out, if it belongs to just one org. cheers Thomas
