I have never seen one like this... It is trying to portray "Munich" I believe..

I have never seen this one before but there are lots of religious based buckles. I seem to remember several of them in Angola's book.

For two bucks.... Sheesh...Not a loss...I am curious as to "How" and "Why" this buckle was made.....

It seems to have been a brass buckle at some point in its life.. Then re-worked and chromed.
Notice the plating here that has flaked off.. I defer to others as to the exact purpose or intent
of the meaning of this item.. This is just my opinion of course...

All opinions gratefully received as I have no idea what it represents, I have shown it to a few militaria dealers and none of them could help I. don't collect buckles specifically but it looked German enough for me to grab it, and for $2.00 why not.

Some people collect these odd ball buckles. I wouldn't be surprised if this brought $50-100 on EBay. A good $2 investment. Here is a stein with a similar man.

For $2 I would buy it just for the study of it, also it might turn out to be an important buckle
