unknown maker....on a hook

What you can say about maker (sieper u. söhne ?) ? anyone can show the buckle with such stamp?

In the Nash book that is the makers mark for J J Stahl, they did not make buckles (none have been found up top now) have enclosed pics of the Seiper markings for interest, the early one in the diamond shape and the later which is RS&S (in fact this is an early 1936 buckle which has both maker marks on it)

Very interesting, again the books are not always right, I wonder if Seiper had three makers marks? It is a good research topic to follow!

Indeed - that is interesting . I've seen those marks on belt hooks before and I too didn't know what they were....the fact that both marks show up on that button make things more interesting. Hmmmmm.......
