.. You might want to post some closer photos, showing more detail of the eagle, and another few, straight on pictures of the back. Unfortunately, I really don't know much about these items, but, if you are looking to authenticate this buckle, since you have it in hand, click on this link with known examples of fakes and see if you can make a match or not. / Fake Heer Buckles

Could you take a look at these two and tell me if you believe them to be good? If you can, I mean, from just seeing the front. You seem to know the good from the bad buckles.
.. I ask because, to me, both are good, and I want to see if I know what I'm talking about. This way, in the future, I might be able to help out people like the original poster. However, if the buckles are bad, then I still have much to learn.
