    A Heer belt would not have the RZM stamp. Do you have a photo where we can see RZM?

    I agree the belt looks like a good TR period belt. Here is a thread with an example I have regarding the buckle JPhilip mentions. I've not seen a belt marked the same way, so perhaps Kirby, Markus or others may know more:

    Heer - Paul Cramer M4/44

    I think that it is the date of belt manufacture, habitually preceded by the manufacturer code
    This belt is from my collection
