    If we can post most of the common fakes that appear on Ebay, then people can come and check this thread to see if the photo they are about to buy is a match to any of these fakes!

    Please dont hesitate to post your finds.......Better safe than sorry!

    Here is a similar fake of a KC holder, Auction price currently at $57
    (copy of a photo)

    Another one, of a Jewish KZ prisoner, currently at $103!!!!

    This guy is banking off of these, which probably only cost him less than .50 ea to make or buy. About 1/4 of his pics are original/period....and thats how he scams people. They see some good ones, and so they think they all must be real.


    Here are more......notice that the SS photos are all on the same or similar paper, and also all have that "dark/black contrast" and lack detail.

    They are being sold for around $50 each so far. Complete Crook

    What crud the photo of General Scherer is taken direct from a well known Hoffmann postcard !!

    Sure is! I just cant believe people are paying this much for them, without doing a little research. There are more KZ fakes being sold in the $100's as we speak!

    Oh, and hes a "Private Auction" photo seller on Ebay.......RED FLAG!

    What always amazes me Bill is that there is so much info here and on the net in general that folks are still getting conned , guys like this one must pee themselves laughing all the way to the bank !!

    Couldn't you contact any buyers of these fakes and give them a link to this thread? At least they will know they have been conned and maybe if enough people complained to ebay, they might do something. At least the buyers could ask for their money back.

    Trust me ebay won't do anything. As long as items are moving and they are recieving their fees, they don't care if the items there are good or bad. This is obvious from their silly policy. You complain about a fake item that you bought for 20 euros and they reply: go to a police station, file a complain and when they give you a paper send it to us.
    P.s you need to pay more for the paper than what you have already paid for the fake item.

    Plus there are that many fakes out there it would be a full time occupation !!
