Boating in his dress uniform!

I am a fan of the softer side photos, as a counterpoint to the much more popular combat images. I also like the uniform details present in a lot of these images. This man is taking his love boating in his dress uniform. Seems a bit overdressed for boating and was likely a staged photo. He has his shooting lanyard with two acorns and his bayonet with portepee present.
I like this image. Sorry about the lines, but I don't want this copied and sold as original to someone.

I think this are models, as it is a regular propaganda of friends and
relatvies postcard, I think! For me the cards was made about 1937/
1938 or so. He is anyway wearing the first type of army wreath.

One could buy such cards at shops. The uniform was rented for
this purpose. By this it is indeed possible this photographs was
made with a later date.

Thanks for looking Wim! I would think that it a staged shot at the very least. I thought early war as I don't see any decorations.
