    Hi there, I'm not sure if this has been asked before but one of the blokes at work's son is doing an essay on WW2 and he wants to do it on foreign people in the German army and needs some photo's for it. I told him I've definately seen photo's of muslim troops but I couldn't find any photo's on the internet to back me up. Any help would be great please guys?? Many thanks in advance, Jay

    You could tell him about the Spanish "Blue" Division.

    You could also tell him about the Osttruppen, which I am sure he might have already looked up.

    Here are 3 photos that show foreign volunteers in the German Wehrmacht - the first 2 show the graves of two Spanish fighter pilots who were flying in JG 51 'Moelders' while the third one is a rare photo showing a locally recruited Russian volunteer Company fighting as part of Schutzen Rgt 13 (5 Panzer Division) in 1942.
    If the lad wants to use these in his project just PM me your email address and I will provide the scans without the 'Property Of Hucks216' watermark.
