No need to ask Ade, i can answer this
This is a Ford C11AD Truck-type Station Wagon, a Canadian-made staff car/heavy utility. It was based on the 1941 Ford Station Wagon, but with truck axles, right-hand drive and military fittings. Many were suppied to the British Army in the desert campaign. A modified one belonging to Field Marshal Alexander is in the Canadian War Museum. They were also used by the Canadian forces in Europe.
