Bill any chance you could have ago at this one when you have time , my good friend Helmut Meitzel from Infanterie Regt 15 ! Not one of the big well known names but the real fighting backbone of the Heer , he fought from start to finish, 39-45 on all fronts including Stalingrad where he won his DKiG , as you can see he won every bravery award that was on offer during the Third Reich period !! In this photo he isn't wearing his PVA and the NKS is Gold
