LW Felddivision Feldwebel December, 1943. He wears a winter scarf around his neck, which I don't believe was an issued piece, but a lot of troops wore them
IMO this man shows the Rifle Green waffenfabre of Felddivision troops after January 1943. If he was flak, I would expect to see a Flakkampfabzeichen judging by his rank and other awards....but you never know.
That's it for tonight.....I have more and will be posting new ones too in the next few days.
Anyone else have any to share??

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Wow Paul.....both outstanding photos, but the 6th Armee one is a real treat! Thanks for posting. Sad to think what may have happened to all of those men. But Someone was lucky enough to get out, bringing the photos home. Is there a date on the back by chance?
A new Fallschirmjager foto. No Info available
few new Luftwaffe ground troop pics
(zelt to the left is very bright) - someone drew a swastika on both photos unfortunately
I have a few, all tropical as you might expect and I have shown them before, here are 5 of them but I can repost the others if you want. The last one appears to have long boots that might imply he is aircrew?
Regards,
Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
Bill the photo was part of a group i purchased from the driver of the Commander of the 384 Infanterie Divison General Eccard von Gablenz all of whcih feature Stalingrad before and after the Kessel was formed , he was visiting units prior to him being flown out of the pocket in early december 1942 so the photo was taken around then , the caption says " 9 FLAK Divison in the Kessel but for how much longer " !!
Very unlikely that many of the blokes in the photo survived.
