To me these photos are striking due to the honest combat look about them. Many photos you see have an element of "stage management" about them. These don't have that.

Good point Ade , yes they are definatley still in the Hauptkampflinie when these were taken.

Very nice, I think the last one is very dramatic. Ade I totally agrea with they are the real fighting and not some staged scene.Do you have any more?
