Hello Jannis, the answer may be in the signature of the postcard. I can't read it but based on the letters I see it may be an Italian name. I would guess Italian. Fantastic postcard !

I think the signature it's the numbers 004.

I actually thought the opposite because the Italian soldier was in the forefront of the card and the German showing his back but then i realized it just depicts Italians defending the south from invasion and the Germans from the North and West. It is an interesting postcard
