    E1:
"Der 'Generalstab' tagt. Wichtige Geländebesprechung. Wald v. [= von] E. 30.VI. 40 v. [= von] links n. [= nach] rechts: Gefr. [= Gefreiter] Müller, Leiblein, Nierig, Stoltnig, Dreyer, Eppermann" = "The 'general staff' confers. Important tactical walk. Forest at E. 30/6/40. From left to right: Gefreiter Müller, Leiblein, Nierig, Stoltnig, Dreyer, Eppermann"
(Not 100% sure about the last name, though.)

    E2:
"Bunte Reihe. Juni 1940. E. v. [= links]: Gefr. [= Gefreiter] (unbekannt), Schneider, Uffz. [= Unteroffizier] Kahl, Gefr. [= Gefreiter] Eppermann" = "Bunte Reihe*. June 1940. E. From left: = Gefreiter (unknown), Schneider, Unteroffizier Kahl, Gefreiter Eppermann"
*) "Bunte Reihe" does not translate well; it could be roughly translated as "a mixed row" or a "colorful line"; it normally refers to men and women alternately seated on a dinner table. Apparently, the term is used in an ironic/humorous way here. (Like the "general staff" above.)

    E3 and E4:
Again the "Geländebesprechung"/"tactical walk" in the forest at E. with our friends (compare with E1).

    E5:
"Nach der anstrengenden Besprechung Kaffeeklatsch in E. 30.VI.40 [names] Es schmeckt." = "After the exhausting walk coffee klatsch at E. 30/6/40. [names] Tastes good."
