Help with Photograph - SS Obersturmbannführer and Unit?

Recently picked up a small grouping of original photographs some of which depict a parade involving SS men from an unknown unit. Several of the photos have writing on the back which indicate the date of 24 October 1943 for the "Day of Freedom in Poland." Including images below of one of the photographs in hope that someone here may be able to help with identification. Back of the photograph appears to read: Obersturmbannführer Schi_____________? the Commander the SS V.S. P.T. .....? A designation unknown to me but thought perhaps SS Volunteer Sturmbattalion Posen T_______?








I understand that the size and quality of the image itself may not allow for an identification of the man in question but perhaps someone can help with the name and writing on the reverse ....? Or perhaps the unit abbreviation or event location? Any thoughts, comments, or information would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

The name is "Obersturmbannführer Schimmelpfennig".

"SS U.S. P.T." is the abbreviation of "SS-Unterführerschule Posen-Treskau", i.e. "SS-NCO School Posen-Treskau".

The photo was taken at the Schloßplatz in Posen (Poznan); the building is the former Königliche Generallandschaftsdirektion.
