    I agree; it appears to be Low German / Plattdeutsch to me as well.

    I'm afraid can't add anything to member Feuerbach's translation. Plattdeutsch differs quite severely from both Standard German and the Southern German Dialects. If I carefully read a Plattdeutsch text, I get the general meaning and can make sense of the majority of the words, but some hopelessly elude me.

    When it comes to spoken words, it gets much more severely; a Northern German speaking full-blown Plattdeutsch and one of my fellow Southerners talking in one of the Bavarian dialects might as well come from different countries....
