    From my collection.

    In his Summer white uniform this is no doubt a typical portrait photo taken during his recruit training as evidenced by the cap tally "Schiffsstammabteilung ".

    The back is dated 1938, and the front has an impressed photographers imprint " Max Genz Stralsund "
