Hi Guys

Can you help, ID this Tank. I know this photo was taken in Russia. Before August 1941.

Is it Possibly a Soviet BT-7 ?

Hi Justin, it is a Czech tank. Known as the T38 in German service. They were popular vehicles. As they became outclassed the chassis were still made for use in various SP anti tank mounts and finally the Hetzer tank destroyer.

There is one more Tank, I'm fairly sure on which type this is For me its a Cracking Photo. It looks Bran new! just out of the show Room.

Panzer IV with the short barrelled and generally useless 75mm which i believe couldn't fire armour piercing rounds just H.E. Just what you want tank v tank.

Justin,the Cech T-38 chassis was used for the highly effective Assault gun the "Hetzer" these had a four man crew like the "Stug". A long barrell 75mm too. "Hetzer" crews loved them. Anyway that's a bit of useless info for you. Stewy S
