Here are a few more family(and friends) photos from my collection.
The first one is another of my mother's uncles. The mountain troops photo is a friend of my mothers. The next is a photo of my Opa in front of his house with my mother and her two sisters wearing my Opa's hat and two of my uncles caps. The next is my father in his RAD group.

    Ingrid, Ralph - Awesome photos!

Ralph- It has been great to see your family history during the wartime years. I really like the Bunker photo, very nice. Of course my favorite of all is your fathers Pz Portrait w/ cap variation! Would love to see more
    Thanks Bill!

Very nice pics, Bill and Ralph!

I wonder whats up with the "X-mas 39"?
This is when the photo was taken; the text above it was added after the man was killed in action. (Note the different handwritings and pens.) The "Christmas 1939" caption may well have been written by the portrayed soldier himself, with the "KIA" data added by the family member or friend he had given the photo to.

good stuff guys! I love how this thread has taken off, Bill! almost 90,000 views!? WTF! Well, I have a great pic of what looks like a General inspecting soldiers and wanted to put it on the "name that General" thread but my scanner wont allow me to download to my WRF profile because it takes up too much memory or something. I could take a picture of a picture but it is small and I'm afraid the fidelity will be sub-par.Also it doesnt help to have his hand in front of his face! I'll try

Dean, After you scan them, use a photo editing program and resize them. Try it a few times with different sizes, you will come up with something that you can download.
