Hello, everyone! I just joined the forum. I collect photographs, both of celebrities (mostly of Churchill), and old CDV's. Here are two which I thought would interest the members of this forum:

This is a photo of Gustav Stresemann, autographed 1928. Chancellor and Foreign Minister of the Weimar Republic and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. I was visiting my family in Israel this past month and visited an antique store in a small kibbutz outside of Haifa. Israel is full of German militaria. The store keeper had no idea who this was and sold me the photo for 30 shekels, the equivalent of US $7.

This is a photo I picked up on eBay for US $10. Unfortunately there is no writing on the back and I have no knowledge of its provenance. It doesn't look like a press photograph (I have many in my collection). In all the photos of Hitler, I've never seen him in civilian clothes after 1934, so I may be very much mistaken but perhaps this is from 1933? Does anyone have any suggestions about the date/occasion of this photo?

    Thank you!
