Are you sure this is the Warsaw ghetto?
Although very unclear the road sign in the background seems to have a sign (top right) pointing to "Warschau 140 or 14 km??? The lower right sign board looks like "Radom" with "Kielce" underneath. The left sign looks like pointing to "Litzmannstadt" (originally Łódź.) But as I said it is not that clear in the scan.
First time I have seen a sign saying "Ghetto" in Warsaw as the Germans went to great lengths not to call the Warsaw Ghetto a ghetto but officially Jüdischer Wohnbezirk in Warschau the Jewish residential district rather than ghetto. Even the Stroop report of May 16, 1943, was entitled Es gibt keinen jüdischen Wohnbezirk in Warschau mehr! (The Jewish Residential District in Warsaw is no more!)
Interesting photo in any case!
Update: Just noticed the shop sign on the right appears to be "Zegarmistrz ...." this means "Watchmaker...." someone mainly engaged in repairing clocks and watches . Can't make out the second line of the signboard but a higher resolution scan of the photo might make this clearer. I have 1939 Warsaw city and 1939 all Poland (except Warsaw) telephone directories I could look up the shop and see if it is listed?

I don't normally collect these photos but am interested to know what they represent? Maybe a harvest festival ?? And some kind of National Socialist parade, the float includes a caricature bald headed face surrounded by a wreath... I assume it is antisemitic or anticapitalist theme.
Caricature close-up

A photo that was tucked inside a book that I recently purchased. There is a German name and an address for Chicago, US handwritten on the reverse. Would be interested to know a bit more about the unit in the photos if that is possible from the uniforms and insignia? What sort of date would it be likely taken in? I don't know anything about NS German uniforms

Hi Stefan, they appear to be members of the SA and NSKK (two guys in front in black breeches?).
Photo would date from the mid 1930's. Several wear the SA dagger introduced in 1933.
Others will be avable to tell you more going by the collar tab designations (if we could blow that up) and colour of the tops to the kepis.
Cheers, Ade.
