    OK i found the building ,it took some doing
    all i need to do now is get permission from the S3 to take a pic
    as its not alowed on a US base without permistion
    il try to do it as fast as i can

    NO WAY, really???? Thats Awesome man. Yeah, I understand that cameras are a bit of a hassle on US bases. I have heard stories. haha. You are lucky to be there though, my friend. If you have the time, it would be great to see a modern picture for sure Ian. Thanks alot for your time and effort. getting a "then + now" is Not something we get a chance to do often. haha


    Chris: no you didnt cut me off at all. I wouldnt have cared even if you did. haha. Awesome Aircraft Pics man. those will come in handy when trying to ID a plane in a photo and similar. Postcard size?

    I think they are 5x4 but i need to measure them to be sure. They were in that carton holder in photo no. 1

    Ya Chris, we should be able to figure out the unit from all the clues inside the photo albums if it doesnt say it anywhere on any of em. That will be a nice research project too man. cant wait

    funny thing is you can take pics of anything except buildings ,perimiter fences and general layout of the base

    Member Ian is in Grafenwohr "Graf" right now for military duties, and might have been able to grab a "now and then" type photo of the place where these photos were taken. (specifically the group in front of the building). But both were taken in Graf in ww2. Hopefully he was able to take a picture while there, but our military bases are strict on cameras/etc. Even if not, thanks for trying Ian.
