Not sure where this was taken, but see the camo'd 2cm gun to the left, with devastated buildings in the back, also a G for Guderian on the car

Here is a Luftwaffe portrait given to me by a friend. The image itself is nice, but isn't anything too interesting. But, the reverse studio stamp info is neat IMO. I am going to look for more info on the studio.

It is stamped "DUX, Göringstrasse". Goringstrasse is now Ebertstrasse and located in Berlin. Andreas or anyone.....would you happen to know what the "DUX" stands for??
    The whole thing says:

    H. Werner - K. Weinhold??
Fhotohandlung und Atelier (photo treatment and studio)
    DUX, Goringstrasse

Err... Why Berlin? Dux is the German name for Duchcov in the Teplice District, now in the Czech Republic; this is where the photo studio was.

(Many streets and squares in German territories would have been named after Göring. By the way, the Ebertstraße in Berlin was called Hermann-Göring-Straße, not Göringstraße.)

ahhh okay, that's where my mistake was Andreas. Thanks. I looked up "Goringstrasse" and it took me to Ebertstrasse, in Berlin....the old Hermann-Göring-Strasse. Thanks for the info on Dux too, I knew you'd be able to help. Should have looked outside of Germany for the Street, but Dux didn't come up on any of my previous searches.
