Hi operaman, nice card, It is a painting donated to the brown house if i remember correctly. cheers
bte not sure if you have seen these ones. not sure how many more in the set, they are uncommon.
I have been collecting for about 35 years and I have never seen any one of the cards you posted, not even in the many books I have .Really nice you are lucky.
thanks operaman, postcards are imho the most exciting where you still get to see cards not seen before years into the hobby. Some of the cards, you see once only and never get to see them again as well. You have quite a solid collection looking through your other threads, bravo!
It says:
"Werte Pgn. [= Parteigenossen]! Nach wundervollen, aber an-
strengenden Marschtagen durch das Fichtel-
gebirge u. [= und] die fränkische Schweiz sind
wir mit größter Begeisterung im wunder-
vollen Nürnberg empfangen worden.
Das Erhebendste der Gruß des Führers
vom Fenster aus an die Marschierenden."
...meaning...:
"Dear valued fellow party members! After wonderful, but ex-
hausting days of marching through the Fichtel-
gebirge* and Little Switzerland**), we were
welcomed at wonderful Nuremberg with
the greatest enthusiasm.
The most extolling moment: The Führer saluting
the marching formations from the window"
