Non german unit? Helmets?

Greetings!

I recently acquired this picture into my collection. Altough I cannot seem to stop bothering about those helmets that they are wearing...

Does anyone recognize the helmet? Maybe this is some foreign unit of some sort? Or am I completely wrong

The helmets are Czech...I speculate these are men of the Slovakian ("Schnelle") Division fighting alongside the Germans in the Southern Sector of the Ostfront ....

Upon closer examination, we can see the Slovak Orthodox Cross on the helmets, and the reviewing German Offizier appears to be General Paulus, which suggests that this photo was taken during the Summer 1942 Offensive Code-Named "Fall Blau"/Operation Blue, which ended in the Stalingrad Catastrophe...
