I know a guy who sells WW2 photos on ebay, well, used to until recently. He would make a killing on the nude photos he'd get in large wartime photo batches out of Germany. There appears to be a market for nude WW2 german soldiers out there among the gay community, and they pay a premium for them. That price is well beyond anything I saw him sell photos for, but he'd make north of $80 each if other things were showing. The more men, the better. I was surprised how many Germans took photos like this.

Now that I think about it, should I feel weird that vintage photos of naked men is one of the things I know the most about around here?

I would understand the price (no i wouldnt) if someones grandfather claimed they were forced to stand knee deep in icecold water, just to see how small their weeners would be after 24hours.

Seems to me an enlisted man next to "The Commandant" did something wrong and it was a punishment meted out to his fellow barracks guys.
Wonder how that worked out for him the next couple of days..

I have the sneaking suspicion that Ernst Rohn was behind all this!
