Guys, can anyone help with translating the following please? Written on the back of some photos I would appreciate any assistance. I apologise that one has photo album residue over it but I can't remove anymore without damaging the integrity of the actual photo.

    Adrian,

    I will do one also.

1st photo (top left) reads as far as I can tell (this was a nightmare to read):

"War-year 1941. Dedicated to the lasting (literally "continuous") memory (of) your friend and comrade, Willi Schmidt."

I am sure HPL/Andreas will correct me if I went wrong here - reading period Sütterlinschrift is challenging.

Surely it must be "your friend Franz" instead of "my friend Franz"?

Almost correct I got it - of course the preposition zu here is better understood and translated as "as" instead of "to" as it usually means. It is good HPL/Andreas is here to educate us!
