    "As a friendly

    This one says:

    "20.7.1944.
    Auf dem Schießstand
    Leeuwarden.
    Oberbootsmann Dietz
    Obermaat Meier
    " Leiss
    "

    ...meaning:

    "20 July 1944.
    On the shooting range
    Leeuwarden.
    Oberbootsmann Dietz
    Obermaat Meier
    Obermaat Leiss
    "

Leeuwarden is the capital city of the Dutch province of Friesland.

(PS: Note the date 20 July 1944. The men would have listened to the news that day with great interest...!)
